Retention Information
Before the housing assignment process begins, the current
residents of University houses and apartments are given the
opportunity to retain their residence for the upcoming academic
year, providing they meet retention criteria. To qualify for
retention, all steps must be completed or retention rights
could be lost. Residence Education - Assignments reserves
the right to revoke retention rights to any student or student
group.
Please note that current first-year and sophomore students
are not eligible to participate in the retention process.

to housing@notes.udayton.edu. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended office hours
through 7:30 p.m. are scheduled for several evenings. Go to

for dates and time of meetings and extended office hours.
Retention application deadline is 4:30 p.m., on Friday, January
23, 2009.
Please note that current first-year and sophomore students
are not eligible to participate in the retention process.
Also any student that participates in retention must be a
current student at the University of Dayton.
